DOGE was an idea on paper that was so poorly executed and implemented that it caused significant damage to the agencies it touched. Here in Northern Utah, those cuts have had real consequences for federal workers, their families, and the local businesses that depend on them. We absolutely should be looking for ways to make our government more efficient and effective. That starts with listening to the people who actually do the work, identifying what isn't working, and making thoughtful, meaningful improvements.
